A STATUS Orange rain warning has been issued by Met Éireann for Kerry and four other counties.
Kerry will see heavy rain on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night with the possibility of thundery downpours leading to localised flooding.
The warning is valid for Kerry, Cork, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow from 1opm tonight until midnight on Thursday. In the meantime, Tuesday will remain mainly dry with the odd shower in Kerry up until later this evening.
