THE Status Red snow-ice warning for Munster and Leinster has been extended to 6pm on Friday by Met Eireann.
They say there will be blizzard conditions tonight and during Friday in Leinster and Munster. Southern and eastern coastal counties are expected to receive exceptionally high accumulations, up to one metre in places.
Early evening in Tralee is very cold and dry, but Met Eireann says the snow showers and gale force winds will extend all over the province in the coming hours and overnight.
