Relive one of the most heartbreaking moments in Kerry GAA history, when the men from Offaly put a stop to Micko’s team’s dreams of a 5-in-a-row in ‘Players Of The Faithful’ tonight (Friday) at 9.30pm on RTE One.
It tells the story of Offaly’s surprise All-Ireland final victory over Kerry in 1982. It features interviews with the players involved and we can no doubt experience a painstaking analysis of Seamus Darby’s late goal — a mind and body-numbing experience if ever there was one (no, I’m still not over it!).
