In that short space of time, a quick drive around to the stations on Wednesday morning revealed a six cent drop on that figure.

The cheapest places to fill up in Tralee now are the Applegreen stations in Fairies Cross and Manor Village at a price of €1.22.8 per litre.

Coming up just behind Applegreen are ‘Top’ in the Horan Centre and the ‘Inver’ station on the Castlemaine Road with a price of €1.22.9.

Then comes Nolan’s Esso on North Circular Road, Joe O’Connor’s Esso at Clash and Topaz in Manor on €1.23.9.

“I am delighted, I was speechless when I received the phone call telling me I’d won. I think I’m still in shock, as I never win anything,” said Judith Hayes.

Judith’s current car is seven years old, so a brand new car is a welcome addition to the Hayes family home in Abbeydorney.

“I can’t wait to drive it away,” said Judith.

Tralee Credit Union’s next Members Car Draw is in December.
