The Churchill quiz team who came second in the All-Ireland Scór competition at the weekend.

THE Brothers Pearse Club (Cnoc na hEaglaise) Quiz Team finished in 2nd place in the Senior Scór All-Ireland final, which took place in ‘The Gleneagle’, Killarney, last Saturday, April 2.

The Churchill lads scored 68 out of 80, which was great scoring/answering, but they were pipped by the Offaly team from Fear Bán, who lost out to them last year.

The dedicated and hard-working Churchill quiz men of Mícheál Mag Fhionnbhair (Gaynor), Seán Ó Flaithearta’, Pól Ó Cullota, and Alex Ó Dónaill were so close to becoming winners, but nonetheless, it was a great achievement which adds to two ‘firsts’ (’14, ’15) from the team.

Their success is great for the Tralee/Naomh Breandán GAA Boards and a further boost for Scór in the Greater Tralee area.
