IT was a very special night at The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium on Friday night with a fantastic crowd in attendance as Tom Pa O’Connor presented an incredible €85,000 to representatives of three Kerry based Cancer Services Charities.
The North Kerry man has raised more than €125,000 for cancer and hospice care.
Inspired by Tom Pa’s response to his cancer diagnosis, his friends, including many in the greyhound community carried out unbelievable work raising much needed money.

Cheques were presented to Kerry Hospice Foundation, Colorectal Cancer Services and Kerry Cancer Support Group.
A further €40,000 was presented to CUH Cancer Services at an event hosted at Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium, Cork on Saturday night.
