Tralee Bay Wetlands which featured on TG4 show Duiche tonight at 8pm.
Tralee Bay Wetlands featured in the TG4 documentary ‘Duiche’ last night highlighting the exciting work and projects that are taking place there.
While it wasn’t its first time on the box, another moment in the national spotlight can only have benefitted the centre and boosted its ever increasing tourism factor.
The show was filmed back towards the end of January and followed the show’s presenter as she visited various locations around Ireland.
TraleeToday.ie got in contact with the centre yesterday ahead of airing to to get their thoughts on their impending national appearance.
“It’s a great opportunity for a bit of exposure for us here. It’s good recognition of the some of the work that we do here in regards to conservation and education,” said a spokesperson at the Wetlands.
“The facility here is very good for families. You can bring a whole gang of kids here of all different ages with the opportunity to do something fun on the lake or by experiencing the wetland itself on the environmental side as well.”
