Good Luck U12 Boys in Croke Park:
Best of luck to the under 12 boys who travel to Croke Park this week to represent Tralee at the Go Games Blitzes.

Successful Easter Camp:
Credit to the 2 Davids and their helpers on another great Easter Hurling and Camogie camp at Caherslee GAA Grounds Tralee. Close to 50 players got 3 days of intensive skills development and fun. We hear the box games between the under 12 sides became very competitive and the players had to be dragged away from it for lunch break.  A great way to whet the appetites coming into the prime season.

U16 Boys County League:

Tralee Parnells competed in their second game of the season against a strong Ardfert side in Caherslee on Thursday evening 29th March.  Although the ground was not suitable for hurling both sides played an open and mostly competitive game.

Two 10 minute windows at the start of both half’s saw Ardfert score a couple of goals which were the difference in the end.

Other than these two periods Parnells were very competitive and scored 1-13. Some impressive individual performances on the Parnells team, in particular, Luke Chester, Niall Cassidy, Niall Fitzmaurice and Darragh Maloney.

A lot of positives to be taken from the game and a bright future ahead.  We need to get everyone back training together so we can improve as a team and compete in our remaining games.

Thanks to all the parents for their continued support and to Alan Kavanagh who traveled down specially from Galway for the game.

Minors:

Good luck to our Minors travelling to the NK league match away to Kilmoyley Tuesday. A big step for our still young club, a minor team standing on their own for the first time. The remaining rounds will be played on Sunday April 15th / and Sunday April 22nd / Finals Sunday April 29th.

Under 14 Camogie:

All players are requested to please make a special effort to attend training on the Friday the 6th and 13th of April.  Mentors have been working towards the possibility of a great opportunity for this team and we will be announcing details very soon at training.

KY 17s:

Well done to Darragh Reen and Ruarí O Sullivan who lined out at 13 and 2 for the Kerry under 17s in their first inter-county game of 2018 on a find new Crotta pitch Saturday the 31st.  Darragh was off to a great start, taking good points and creating danger that drew fouls from scorable range.

Kerry Senior Camogie:

It was great to see some our our Parnells underage players watching the Kerry Senior Camogie team take on Roscommon in Abbeydorney last Sunday.  The seniors were under pressure down 6 points to 3 early in the 2nd half in poor playing conditions.  However they showed great belief and character to claw back to 6 all and ended up splitting the points at 7 points apiece.
