Debs and Evening Wear Fashion Show

A great evening of entertainment was had on Sunday evening at the Ballyroe Heights hotel with the Debs and Evening Wear fashion show.  Magician Gerard Kearney got proceedings under way and entertained the crowd with some brilliant mind reading skills.

The fashion show started with a selection of outfits provided by the Kerry Wedding Store and Tuxedo Menswear.

A big thank you to our club members from hurling and camogie who modelled on the night, some looked like naturals on the catwalk !

Guest speaker Mary O’Donnell of Radio Kerry fame gave some health and well being tips at the interval. Overall this was a very entertaining evening and was a great opportunity to meet club members.

Congratulations to Maria Guthrie and Barry Hamilton who won the best dressed competition. The club is very proud to be associated with this event as all proceeds will be shared with Autism Friendly Tralee.

A big thank you to all of our sponsors who donated prizes on the night including Garveys Supervalu, Kellihers Toyota Garage, Meadowlands Hotel, O’Connells Pharmacy, Siamsa Tire, INEC, Kerry Sports Academy and Relife Beauty.

A special thank you to Mike and Sinead McCarthy of the Kerry Wedding Store for inviting the club to be part of the show.  Well done to all involved in the setup and running of this event.

Social Hurling
Boys from U9 to 15s are welcome to meet up on Saturday mornings at the astro pitch at the MTU Sports academy for an hour of social hurling.  This is an opportunity for the boys to keep up their practise during the off season.  Games will be supervised and whoever is available can just turn up that morning.  U9 to U11s meet at 9am, U12 to U15s meet at 10am.
