A TRALEE Rowing Club member has been selected for the Rowing Ireland Under 19 team.
Following two tough trials in February and April this year and making it through the final 4-day long selection camp last week at the National Rowing Centre in Cork, 17-year-old Sean Morris has secured a place on the team to represent his country at the Coupe de la Jeunesse (European) Regatta being held from July 28-30 in Amsterdam.

“We wish him ‘the luck of the Irish’ as he heads off to Athlone for another intensive fortnight of preparation with his new team mates Dom Casey (Skibbereen RC) Fionn McDonnell (St. Michael’s RC, Limerick and Riann Claffey (Athlone BC).”
“We are thrilled for him, his family and all at Tralee Rowing Club who have helped him work towards this since TRC was founded,” added James.
