A TRALEE woman is off to play for Ireland in the European Seniors Team Championships in Poland next month.
Mary Sheehy was selected for the Irish Ladies Seniors Team for the competition which takes place at the end of August.
Mary, daughter of former Kerry player and John Mitchels legend Niall, impressed recently at the Irish Ladies Seniors Close Championship in Birr where she reached the quarter-finals of the matchplay stages.
The Oakpark native has already represented her province in competitions and is a popular member of Tralee, Ballybunion and Killarney clubs. Best of luck in the championships Mary.
