GARDAI are investigating two separate bicycle theft incidents in town over the past week.

On Monday, March 15, between 5:30pm and 10:20pm a girls’ Mountain bike was stolen from  Caherdannan in Tralee.

The bike, an Apollo purple mountain bike,  was locked in a communal part of the estate. It is valued at approximately €250 and the owner was understandably upset at the theft.

On March 19 at 5.45pm another injured party locked his bicycle at North Circular Road near the apartment complex. However, when he returned at around 6pm the bicycle, a Hexagon mountain bike with yellow handlebars, was gone.

If anybody has any information or if anybody has possibly been offered either of these bikes for sale Garda Eilis Cronin at Tralee would appreciate a call on 066 710230.
