A TEAM from the ViClarity office in Tralee, led by John Ogie Sheehy (Global CIO and CEO of European Business) this week joined Maharees Conservation Association in their work to strengthen the Maharees sand dunes before the winter storm season.

Eight of the Viclarity Tralee team took part in the planting project along Brandon Bay on Wednesday and with a quick demo on how to plant marram grass, they succeeded in replanting 100 metres of  the fragile sand dune.

Chair of Maharees Conservation Assocication, Aidan O’Connor said: “We were delighted to welcome the team from ViClarity out here today. Their work and that of all of the other volunteers that help us is making our dunes stronger and more resilient to winter storms and that, in turn, is supporting our community and the wildlife that depends on the sand dunes.”
