IF you’re interested in a career in radio, the Kerry ETB Training Centre are holding an eight week course this month which is an ideal starting point.
The Foundation In Radio course — delivered by Radio Kerry Training and starting on August 14 — is an excellent opportunity to access entry level positions in radio industry or progress to 50 week Digital Skills (Radio Production) programme which starts in October at the Digital Skills Centre in Tralee.

Refine your practical skills in broadcast pre-production, live broadcast production and audio post. It’s an entry level course designed to give the participants a comprehensive foundation in a number of the everyday tasks carried out in a radio station.
It offers them the opportunity to develop core skills in broadcast pre-production, broadcast production and audio post production.
Participants who successfully complete the course may progress to entry levels positions at local, regional and national radio stations or to further education and training programmes.
