BALLYHEIGUE man Richie Stack has continued his winning ways in the world of Mixed Matial Arts by taking a championship at the weekend.
Richie, who fights out of the Tralee Spirit MMA club, travelled to West Cage Fighting Championship 6 (WCFC) on Saturday in The Clayton Hotel, Galway.
He went there with club mates Andre Cell – who drew his ADCC grappling bout – and Michael Prendergast, who won his Welterweight MMA bout against a tough opponent.

Richie fought a southpaw, Gearoid McDonagh from Strange Wolves MMA in Galway for the Featherweight Title and won the bout by K.O. at just one minute and nine seconds of the first round to become the new WCFC Featherweight Champion, much to the delight of the travelling Kerry support.
Just last July, beat a five time Irish champion at an MMA tournament when he defeated former champ Alex O’Sullivan at the Celtic Gladiator show in Dublin.
Richie has had a successful few years winning on on the national and international stage and it seems it’s getting better and better. Watch Richie’s brief bout below…
