Gardaí Investigate Burglaries In Tralee, Ardfert And Kilflynn

GARDAI are investigating burglaries which occurred in Tralee, Ardfert and Kilflynn recently.

At about 3.30am on Saturday morning, Byrnesworth in The Square was broken into. The window at the front was smashed and a small amount of coins were taken from the register. No other damage was caused.

Gardaí are appealing to people who may have been in the Square around this time to come forward with any information.

In Ardfert on Friday last, between midnight and 5pm, a burglary occurred on Church Street. The rear window and door of a garage were forced open.

Nothing was taken from the garage, but €450 of home heating oil was stolen from the oil tank. If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area around this time please contact Tralee Garda Station.

Over in Ballyconnell, Kilflynn, a burglary occurred between November 25 and December 5. The homeowners returned after being away to find the rear kitchen window had been forced open.

All the internal bedroom doors had been locked, but these had been forced open and a small amount of cash was taken. Anyone who noticed anything suspicious during this period is asked to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
