Blennerville Windmill lit up green this week in the run up to St Patrick’s Day.

WHILE Blennerville Windmill decided to go green early this week, some of the other well known buildings in town are set to follow suit for St Patrick’s weekend.

As part of a now annual initiative between Tralee Chamber Alliance and Kerry County Council, The Ashe Memorial Hall, the Dominican Church, the Courthouse and the Croppy Boy will all be lit up from Thursday.

It’s all to build up anticipation for our national holiday and sets up a great weekend in Tralee with Kerry playing Mayo on the Saturday night and the parade on Sunday.
