AFTER the morning’s rain, the sun broke through for the thousands of glamorous punters who thronged the ‘Island’ for McElligotts Kia Ladies Day at Listowel Races.
They came from all over Ireland dressed to impress, for the fun, the style and great racing on the penultimate day of the festival.
As we told you earlier, Gemma McDonagh from Galway was the winner of the fantastic first prize of a trip for two to New York, staying in the iconic Fitzpatrick Hotel in Manhattan with €1,000 spending money after she was named Best Dressed Lady.

There are also generous cash prizes of €1,000 for the Most Creative Headpiece won by Breda Butler from Tipperary and Norella Molyneaux from Listowel took home €500 for the Most Contemporary Outfit.
