THE Light Opera Society of Tralee are in the midst of a five-day run of their production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in Siamsa Tire.
Theatregoers were in early on Wednesday evening to catch the second performance of the classic musical about a beautiful soprano who becomes the obsession of a mysterious, disfigured musical genius.
The show is directed by Grainne O’Carroll, features a live orchestra and along with Tralee natives, the cast is drawn from some of the best young performers from around the county.
The audience reviews have been glowing for the production, but if you’re looking for tickets I’m afraid you’re going to be disappointed, as it’s totally sold-out for the run. Scroll down for photos of those attending on Wednesday…
