The launch of the Abbeydorney Vintage Weekend last Thursday.
ABBEYDORNEY Vintage Society officially launched their Vintage Weekend on Thursday evening where details of the activities on Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6 were announced.
On Saturday afternoon at 5.30pm, the vintage car and tractor run will set off on two different routes around the roads of North Kerry, returning to the Village at approximately 8pm to the Vintage Field, where a BBQ and entertainment will be provided.

On Sunday at 12 noon, the vintage show will commence in the Vintage Field. Activities throughout the day will include Fire Engine Rides, Pony and Trap Rides, Fun Fair, Bouncy Castles, High Zip Wire and Autojumble.
The highlight of the day will be the Donkey Derby which is sure to provide great entertainment. This will get underway at 4pm.
A wide range of vintage and classic cars and tractors will be on display throughout the day.
This will be an action-packed event for all the family. Proceeds from the event will go towards Abbeydorney Playground Development Group and Killahan Autism Unit.
