IF you want to be entertained by local actors performing scenes from famous movies and TV shows, then a trip to The Ballymac Bar, Boherbee, next week is definitely for you.
Tim Landers’ ‘Act Up Drama Group’ is in rehearsals at the moment perfecting their skills for “A Night of Stage and Screen” which takes place on Friday, July 5 with entry to the show, (which takes place in the back of the bar) from 7.30pm. Admission €7.
This is the third showcase of the actors work under well known local actor Tim and will feature monologues , duologues and group scenes from such movies as The Accused, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Jaws, Ladybird and The Field, classic plays such as Dancing at Lughnasa, TV shows such as Game of Thrones and other classic pieces of literature.

“We can’t wait for you to see our actors from all over Kerry who have attended our Stage and Screen classes and who have been working on these pieces for the last twelve weeks. It’s been a privilege to direct this talented bunch of actors and a great night’s entertainment absolutely guaranteed,” said Tim.
