ART in the Park artists in association with Tralee Chamber Alliance are delighted to once again showcase their artworks for their Off the Rails exhibition.

Titled ‘The Kingdom of Kerry’, it takes place in Kerry County Museum, opening on Thursday November 28 at 7pm and will run until April 2020.

This year artists were asked to produce work that reflected their own aspects of Kerry and this could be in any way imaginable. There is a huge amount of variety and medium of works and organisers say visitors will be amazed by the talents shown by artists.

“We have over 30 members exhibiting at this year’s exhibition which is now in its second year,” said Rebecca Lyons, Arts and Culture Officer at Tralee Chamber Alliance.

“We are delighted that Kerry County Museum has given us their exhibition space to us again to host this exhibition. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Helen O’Carroll, Claudia Kohler and the team of the Museum for all their help.”

The exhibition will be opened by our Mayor of Tralee Jim Finucane and we would like to send our thanks to him and his colleagues particularly in the Arts Office at Kerry County council for their continued support,” added Rebecca.

Ber Earley, one of the artist exhibiting says of Art in the Park; “Art in the Park for me is all about the Spirit of Art! I have found it to be an uplifting event with a great atmosphere. It is a wonderful asset to the town as well as the local art community”.
