THE bookies were obviously not impressed with Kerins O’Rahillys comeback yesterday as they make Austin Stacks odds-on to win the county final in two weeks.
Stacks won Saturday’s semi-final against St Brendans after a penalty shootout, while the Strand Road men overcame Dr Crokes in the sunshine of Austin Stack Park on Sunday.
BoyleSports have cut Stacks into the 8/13 favourites from 6/4 to claim the title, with plenty of support arriving for them. Paddy Power have the Rockies at 8/11 with Strand Road evens.

Kerins are now 6/5 underdogs with their odds trimmed from 4/1. Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “2006 All Star Player of the Year Kieran Donaghy played a crucial role in Austin Stacks’ Kerry semi-final win to see them face Kerins O’Rahillys in the final. Austin Stacks are now the 8/13 favourites from 6/4 while their rivals are not without support either at 6/5 from 4/1. It should be a great battle with both sides from Tralee.”
No time or venue has been confirmed for the final as yet, but it’s expected it will be an afternoon throw-in on Sunday, December 5 in Austin Stack Park. Better get those tickets as soon as they become available though, as demand with be high.
