Our executive released the following statement on the 8th October.

Ballymacelligott GAA Club has decided to suspend all training for all age groups for both boys and girls for 2020.

The pitches will now close for all members of our club and public.
The Club takes this difficult step in the interest of the health and safety of our players, parents, mentors, coaches and all our families and friendsWe take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped us play a huge amount of football in a short few summer months.
So many people worked very hard to make this possible.

Everyone, every team, every player, every coach, every parent, every supporter, every club officer flew our colours high and with pride in an extraordinary year.

We look forward to 2021 and to getting back on the playing fields once again and flying our colours even higher.

World Mental Health Day

Last Saturday, on World Mental Health Day, the GAA, in partnership with Jigsaw, launched a new online youth mental health promotion course called One Good Coachâ„¢. The aim of this course is to increase the mental health literacy of coaches and club members so that they feel more confident to promote and support young people’s mental health within their coaching role. The One Good Coachâ„¢ workshop is now available to access on the GAA’s e-learning platform at https://learning.gaa.ie/courses/OneGoodCoach/
