Well Done to Tomás and The Kerry Senior Hurling Team
The Senior Kerry Hurling Team were defeated by Antrim in the Joe McDonagh Cup Final on Sunday last. Well done to Antrim and well done to our own Kerry Team: they played hard and never gave up right to the final whistle and gave us a great exciting game. We are ever so proud of our own Tomás O’Connor and all the Kerry squad who reached two finals this year. In both they served The Kingdom with distinction.  Ciarraí Abú !

Running an AGM in 2020/early 2021
Croke Park made changes to the rule to take note of COVID 19 and the restrictions’ around same. The following three rule changes came in to effect in relation to Running an AGM in 2020/early 2021

One:

Eligibility to stand for office has changed from 31st March to 31st October

Two:

Quorum {for a physical AGM}:

20% of members is sufficient for a quorum

Or 20 members for a club with membership greater than 100

Three:

If there are no other nominations for a position, an outgoing officer can remain in their position even if they have served the full time for which they were elected {for us 3 years}.
The general advice for this year is that this is not the time to consider motions that radically change the direction or substance of the club.

Tralee Board AGM
The Annual Tralee District Board AGM will be held  in Jan 2021 – due to Covid Restrictions the format and the way it will be held will be known at a later date.
