“The Community Initiative Programme is a key way in which each of our Hospitals translates Bon Secours (“good help”), its ethos of care, into action in the community that it serves. We believe that, through our Community Initiative Fund, we can act as a catalyst in tackling social issues by assisting local charities and not-for-profit groups in the outstanding work that they are doing in response to the healthcare and related social and economic needs of the community and are delighted to support Enable Ireland Kerry Services,” he said.

Sean Scally at Enable Ireland said; “We really appreciate the support from the Bon Secours and the donation will be used to purchase a ceiling tracking hoist for our adult centre in Edward Street. By installing this hoist we will be able to improve the services we provide to adults with disabilities in Co Kerry. The hoist will enhance the service we provide at the moment.”
