THE owners of Kirby’s Brogue Inn are set to for a major expansion of both the famous hostelry on Rock Street and their sister restaurant, MJ’s Diner, in Clash over the coming months.
Both MJ’s Diner and Kirby’s Brogue Inn will extend their premises and well in excess of 30 new full and part time jobs will be created. The expansions are to cope with growing trade and demand in both businesses.
The two restaurants between them already employ over 60 people and this number increases during the summer season.
There are also plans to open another business in the town centre over the next 12 to 18 months. More details of the expansion will be announced shortly.
This great news for the Cotter/Kirby family and the town coincides with their 40 years on the Rock celebrations.
