ARE you a serious Star Wars fan?
Well the new SciFan Society of the ITT is having an event on December 7 in the Abbey Inn, Tralee starting at 8pm with some great prizes for those of you with a love for all things to o with the Force.
SciFan members Megan Doyle, Sally O’Rourke-Griffin (Chairperson), and Rowan Mc Loughlin.
This is a galactic battle quiz for Star Wars enthusiasts but which does also include one round for those who mightn’t be too au fait with the films.
Tables of four are reasonably priced at €10 each. The SciFan Society is holding a raffle on the night at 10pm and tickets are €1 a strip or six strips for €5.
Great prizes for the quiz and the raffle include tickets to IMAX Omniplex for the upcoming Star Wars Movie ‘The Last Jedi’, Star Wars Memorabilia, Star Wars Games, T Shirt from the Star Wars Skellig Michael range, as well as book tokens, sci fi DVDs, hampers, sweets, chocolates, wine and even ice creams are up for grabs.

The Society also has a very unusual prize on offer. A unique Star Wars themed Tattoo designed exclusively by Dan Wheeler of Metal Urges.
The prize includes actually getting the Tattoo done and is already attracting a lot of interest. It is an amazingly generous prize which is sure to thrill a die hard fan.
