THERE is to be a candlelight vigil held next month, with those who have been affected by suicide encouraged to come down to Pearse Park to remember those they have lost.
The event will take place on World Suicide Day, September 10 at 8.30pm in the with members of the public who wish to show to their support to friends and family also welcomed on the night. People are asked to be there at 8.15pm.
It will be a silent candlelight vigil in which those attending will gather around the stone wall in the park, where there will be a few words spoken by some of the organisers. Everyone will then be invited to light their candles and a moment of silent reflection will take place.
