THE lads from CBS The Green got all festive yesterday as they threw their annual Christmas party at St. Louis Nursing Home in Clonmore.
The boys were decked in Christmas jumpers and Santa hats determined to give the residents a fun-filled afternoon. They greatly impressed with their carol singing but the fun didn’t end there!
In their possession was a wrapped gift for each resident which they received after a lively game of ‘pass the parcel’. The fact that the boys hosted a breakfast morning in the school just the week before to pay for the gifts – which they also chose themselves – is enough evidence that the true spirit of Christmas is alive and kicking at CBS and beyond.
To end the party, the students played bingo with the residents to round off a great afternoon for all.
