THERE were eight Kerry properties up for auction online at the Allsop website today and between them they fetched €663,000.
It was part of their residential online auction with three more Kerry properties up for bids in tomorrow’s commercial auction.
In Tralee, a vacant house at 13 Urban Terrace with a reserve of between €35,000 and €45,000 was sold.
The end of terrace two bedroom house in Boherbee, extending to approximately 50 sq. m (538 sq. ft) fetched €40,000 after one bid.

There were two properties in the Sand Dune Cottages part of Banna, both had the reserve range of between €35,000 – €45,000 each.
Numbers 23 and 25 Sand Dune Cottages, Banna Beach, are both detached three bedroom cottages, extending to approximately 93 sq. m (1,001 sq. ft). According to Allsop’s description, they are both subject to a rent pooling scheme at a current rent of €7,000 per annum.

Well No.25 sold for €52,ooo after 12 bids were received while No.23 sold for less fetching €49,000 after 10 bids.

Down south, 2 The Cable Station, Waterville, had a reserve range of between €40,000 – €50,000.
This vacant ground floor two bedroom apartment, extends to approximately 93 sq. m (1,000 sq. ft). It sold after three bids for €55,000.

Staying in Waterville, 6 The Cloisters, Spunkane, has a reserve range of between €160,000 – €170,000 but fetched a good bit more than that.
This detached four bedroom house, extending to approximately 215 sq. m (2,314 sq. ft).

Coming back to the north of the county, 6 Sli Na Speire, Clieveragh, Listowel, had a reserve range of between €130,000 – €140,000.
This vacant detached four bedroom house, extends to approximately 199 sq. m (2,142 sq. ft), was sold after on the first bid of €135,000.

Over the road in Pallas, Lixnaw, a detached house that requires completion had a reserve range of between €70,000 – €80,000.
It sold on the first bid for €75,000. It extends to approximately 199 sq. m (2,142 sq. ft), on a site extending to approximately 0.29 hectares (0.71 acres). It’s approximately 5km from Lixnaw Village.

Finally, 8 unfinished units, offered collectively as one lot at, Ballygologue Road, Listowel, had a reserve of between €25,000 and €35,000.
The lot attracted 30 bids and was eventually sold for double the reserve at €66,000.
