SO if you’re interested in making money this week on the gee-gees, the experts were on hand for an evening of expert tips in the Brandon Hotel on Friday for a great cause.
Top figures from the racing world gave their opinions on the big races in the festival and to raise money for Enable Ireland.
Top trainer Jim Culloty, jockey Philip Enright and commentator Jerry Hannon were some of the experts giving their tips for the winners.
Each member of the panel was given a €50 charity bet from Paddy Power with any winnings going to Enable Ireland. The selections were as follows:

• Ken Whelan – Dandridge in the Grand Annual Chase €50 win
• Philip Enright – Foxrock in the Cross Country Chase €50 win
• Jim Culloty – It came to Pass in the Foxhunters Chase €25 each way
• Brian O’Connell – Sempre Medici €25 e/w in the Champion Hurdle
• Jerry Hannon – Tiger Roll €25 each way in the Coral Cup
In terms of the auction the highlights were as follows
• €220 was paid for a framed photo of Galileo signed by Aidan O’Brien
• €190 for a signed photo of AP McCoy
• €125 for a signed photo of Willie Mullins.
