GARDAI in Tralee are appealing for witnesses after an assault on a male in the town last week.
On Friday last, between 12.30am and 1am, an assault took place at Edward Street. A man suffered minor injuries after he punched in the head a number of times.
Gardaí say one or two males were involved in the assault. If anyone was in the area and saw the incident or people acting suspicious, please contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.

Gardaí are also investigating a theft from a vehicle incident in the Tralee area. Between 5pm onWednesday, January 27 and 12 noon on Saturday, January 31, a car was entered in the Ballyroe area of Tralee and a sum of money was taken.
The car unlocked outside the front of the house and no damage was caused to the vehicle. Gardaí are appealing to people to always lock their vehicles. If anyone has any information, contact Tralee Garda Station.
