GARDAI are investigating incidents of assault and theft in the Tralee area over the past week and are looking for the public’s assistance.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, a man was assaulted by another at about 2.30am on Castle Street.
He suffered minor, but not insignificant, injuries in the unprovoked attack by a person unknown to the victim. Gardai are appealing for witnesses.

On Thursday, May 16, between 5.45pm and 6.15pm, a mobile phone was stolen from Tralee Bus Station. The phone, a Samsung Galaxy 6s, was put charging at the time.
Also, a window and a front door were stolen from outside a business premises in Monavalley Industrial Estate. This occurred between 7.15pm and 7.50pm on Tuesday, May 14. Any information on the above incidents to Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
