GARDAI in Tralee are warning the public of incidents where people are attempting to steal from handbags while others pray in church.
There have been reports of individuals who have attempted to steal from the handbags of people while praying or when they are distracted and chatting to other people.
Gardaí are also aware that begging is going on outside churches in town and to report it when they see it by calling 066-7102300.
