VISITORS to two education centres in town were impressed by the facilities at open days on Wednesday.
Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn and Kerry College of Further Education both opened their doors to potential would-be pupils and students at opposite ends of their journey through education.
In the Gaelscoil, parents and children were given a tour of the school and a kids were given a chance to play in a classroom to get a feel for what school would be like.
It was, of course, a very different story in Clash at the Kerry College of Further Education, where lecturers and staff showed students the gateway to further education they provide.
There was a campus tour, information talks, workshops and much more at the college which currently has over 550 students doing various courses from accountancy to art design.
