THE finale of the Inspired IWAT camp was held in the Tralee Bay Wetlands on Thursday.

During the month of July, young adolescents and adults from special needs schools and various services all over Kerry participated in the camps.

Participants and students enjoyed theatre and dance, music and ukulele, role-play and storytelling, physical fitness and games, boating, yoga, mindfulness, and a host of other activities, such as putting their culinary skills to the test and making personalised tie-dyed t-shirts.

The IWAT camp also featured a creative art project where campers created fashion pieces from junk and recycled goods as a nod to the wilderness and saving our environment.

The camp finale featured all campers and together they hosted a Junk Couture Fashion show, which included music, dance, and some heartfelt testimonials from the campers themselves.
