ONCE again the Transition Year students at Mercy Mounthawk will don the latest designs at their annual fashion show next week.

The theme of this years show is, rather topically, ‘Barbie & Ken’ so the audience can expect a lot of colour on the runway. The beneficiary charity this time is the Marie Keating Foundation.

The TY students along with their teachers Ms Stacey O’Leary and Ms Mari Kearney (fashion show coordinators), Ms Molly Giltenane, Ms Emma Nolan, Ms Rachel O’Neill (music and dance teachers), Ms Sadhbh Brosnan (I.T teacher), Ms Mairead Ryan (Art teacher) have been working very hard over the last number of weeks to put the show together.

The show will be showcasing some new designs from many shops including That’s Perfect Tralee, Paul Galvins collection from Dunnes Stores and Celsius menswear.

The show takes place on Thursday, October 26, in the school gym 7.30pm. Tickets at €15 are available from Transition Year students or outside the school library.
