COVID-19 – GAA FAST FORWARD ROADMAP TO RETURN FOR CLUBS.
Following a meeting of the Covid -19 Advisory Committee last Friday , Croke Park have green lighted the opening of pitches for non contact adult training from Wednesday, June 24th.

Minor and underage players can start back from Saturday, June 27th.

All teams will be allowed to commence contact training from Monday, June 29thwith club fixtures to start on July 17th.

We are delighted to have activities resuming this week and all will be carried out within National Guidelines.

The situation is still a little fluid and we’re busy organising everything at present. Everyone’s cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

•All parents/ guardians, trainers and players MUST abide by the instructions of the club Covid supervisors.
•Complete a health questionnaire stating,  that you are currently free of Covid-19 symptoms (details to follow over the next few days)
•Before each training session you must sign to say that your child (if underage )or an adult over 18 to say that there are no symptoms of Covid.
•Everyone must bring their own labelled water bottle.
•Don’t share equipment.
•Hand sanitiser to be used on entry and when leaving .
•Travel separately except for family members, no car pooling .
•Players must come togged out.
•No dressing rooms will be open .
•Parents need to observe social distancing .
•Parents/ guardians are responsible for underage players.
•No high fives, hand shaking or hugging allowed at present.

Before we commence training everyone including coaches, admin, parents/guardians of underage players and Covid supervisors must complete the GAA e learning module.

Please send it onto Kathy for the Juvenile Club and Shirley for the Ladies Club.
**NO CHILD OR SENIOR PLAYER will be allowed train until this is done as everyone needs to know the risks and responsibilities of parents, players and club officials.

Information is being sent to players and parents of underage players at present.

LADIES REGISTRATION
The current registration year has been extended by the LGFA to July 31st.
The registration year will be from July 31st, 2020 to June 30th, 2021.
We were awaiting information from the LGFA as regards registration so this week will be asking anyone who hasn’t registered to pay by Friday, July 10th, those not registered will not be allowed to engage in LGFA activities. Details will be sent out early in the week.

JUVENILE ACADEMY
Good news for the girls and boys! We’re back on Sunday, July 5th at 11a.m. in Ballyrickard.
More details will be sent on towards the end of this week.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
New members always welcome! Bring a friend, tell your neighbours to come and join in on Sunday mornings.

CÚL CAMP
Many children and parents alike were delighted to hear that  Cúl Camps will be going ahead from July. With the Covid-19 pandemic it wasn’t looking like the 2020 camps would go ahead.
The Cúl Camp in Strand Road will take place from July 20th to July 24th.

The camps will take place with a reduced capacity this year due to the current circumstances.

Booking opens on the national website
www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie as follows:
Priority registration takes place this Monday, June 22nd from 6p.m. This is for people who had already booked online.
Normal registration will take place from 6p.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd.

This year all registrations must be done online .
NO registrations will be taken on the morning of camp.

This year the GAA, Kelloggs and TG4 are going to run a virtual camp commencing on Monday, June 29th.
It’s going to run for a three week period from 10.25a.m. -11a.m. on week days and will be repeated at 5.15p.m.
There will be skill challenges, mindfulness and will talk about nutrition too. Something for everyone to watch daily.

RAFFLE
We still have a signed Kerry jersey to raffle. With lockdown the past few months we haven’t been able to organise anything so hopefully we will do something shortly.
