Kerins O’Rahillys Notes

Our club made the long trip to Tyrone on Friday to take part in the “Coming Together of the O’Rahillys” 9 aside tournament on Saturday hosted by The Clonoe O’Rahillys. near Coalisland. There are in total 9 clubs including one in London named after The O’Rahilly.

The weekend was a great success and host club could not have done more to make us feel welcome.

We were not in a position to send a strong panel due to other commitments. Frank. O’Connor would like to acknowledge and thank all those who travelled up North especially Thomas McGrath who became the 1st man to kick a point for the club in Ulster, Liam Kissane, Jason O’Leary, Martin Tierney and Selector and “Strategist” Norman Foley.

All helped and played a pivotal role representing The Tralee O’Rahillys. We would also like to thank our Host club Clonoe O’Rahillys for the lovely commemorative piece we were presented with on our departure.
