AFTER the incredible success of last year’s competition, the Kerins O’Rahillys ‘Last Man Standing’ competition has returned for the spring.

There were around 1,200 entries last year at €10 a head, so a nice sum was raised for the club coffers. The competition focuses on the Allianz National Football League over the seven weeks, commencing on January 27th.

Contestants need to pick the winner of one national league game in each round of fixtures. If your selection wins then you progress to the next week. Lose or draw and you’re out.

You cannot pick the same team twice during the seven weeks. Last year around 50 contestants survived the seven weeks, but because there’s a points based system, Tadhg Reen from Farmers Bridge won the top prize of €500 having garnered the highest score.

Updates will be published weekly on the club’s Facebook page. Cards are available from any of the senior panel or play online by scanning a QR Code on the poster – all payments are managed by Clubforce.ie and fully encrypted.

You can also play by sending a WhatsApp message with your selections to : Johno @ 086 8500139 or Pat 086 3801898 or e-mailing your entry to : LMS20241@outlook.com – payment can be made via Revolut @ johnsy5lj
