Kerry Masters 2023

The Kerry Masters competition was held in the Presentation gym Killarney on Sunday last December 3rd.  It was great to see such a great turnout for the competition.

The competition was split into 3 sections, the division 1&2s played a team event, the division 3 had a mens and ladies doubles followed by a mixed final and the division 4 & 5s did likewise. The competition was a fun competition to finish up for the Christmas break. Great fun was had by all with some great games of badminton.

Division 4&5:

Winners: Christy Deane (Annascaul) & Susan O’Connell (Annascaul)

R-Up: Tom Bradley (Kingdom) & Mary McNeer (Killarney)

Division 3:

Winners: Mikey Sheehy (Tralee) & Caroline Lemass (Killarney)

R-Up: Mike Reardon (Listowel) & Carmel Hudson (Moyvane)

Sinead Galvin (Killarney), Catherin Hanrahan (Kingdom), Ruth Concannon (Kingdom) & Donnacha Moloney (Moyvane)

R-Up:

Miriam Rohan (Kingdom), Sam Hayes (Killarney), Brid Murphy (Kingdom) & Mike Lyne (Killarney).

Next weekend is the Butterfield Cup which is being held in Cork on Sunday December 10th. Best of luck to the Kerry team travelling up to take part in this competition.
