Munster U15 & U19 Intercounty competition
On Sunday, 3 Kerry ten travelled to the SETU arena in Waterford to play in the Intercounty U15 and U19 competition.
It was great to see the entry being so strong in all competitions again future of badminton in Munster is very bright! All 3 teams played very well in their respective competitions on the day.
There was 5 counties participating in both the U15 A and B competitions,4 in the u19 A competition and 3 in the u19 B competition.
All 3 Kerry teams came home with Silver medals! The Kerry u15 teams were both beaten by Clare in their respective competitions and the u19s were beaten by a very strong Waterford team.
A big thank you must be said to the coaches and trainers of each team. Mark Loughnane and Tom & Mary Bradley who were over the u15 teams and also Michelle Corr who took charge of the u19 team.
Thank you for in so much time into training the teams and all your hard work paid off in the end.

The next senior competition takes place this Friday night in the Tralee Sports Complex at 7pm. The division 2 & 4 mens and ladies doubles is being played. Why not come along and support the players!
The next juvenile competition is also this weekend. It takes place Saturday in Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre from 10am. Best of luck to all!
