The Kerry badminton grade C, E, and G teams played in UL on Sunday the 20th February for the Munster Inter-County Championship.
The Grade C team played Tipperary first, it was a very close result but unfortunately Tipperary came out on top with a 5-4 win. Kerry then went on to play Cork but Cork beat them 6 games to 2.

The Grade E team had a very successful day, playing Tipperary first and beating them 6-3. They then went on to play Cork and Kerry had a very impressive win of 9 games to 0. Their win against both teams put them into the final where they would play Clare. It was a very close match but Kerry kept their heads and beat Clare 6 games to 3 putting them through to the All-Ireland final.

Our last team of the day was the Grade Gs. They played Tipperary first and although all matches were very close, Tipperary came out on top with a 5-4 win. The Kerry team then beat Limerick 5 games to 4.

As Limerick had beaten Tipperary with a score of 5-4 as well, the scores were now even and it all came down to sets to see who got through to the final to play Waterford. Unfortunately for Kerry, Limerick won on sets, putting them through to the final.
