GREAT racing, family fun and stylish ladies will again be the to the fore at the upcoming Listowel Races June Bank Holiday Meeting on Sunday and Monday, June 5/6.
As always, in addition to top quality National Hunt and Flat racing, the Listowel Race Committee have organized Children’s Entertainment on the Sunday and music after racing on both evenings.

The fashion highlight, Ladies Day on Sunday, June 5, will be judged by TV celebrity and style icon Lorraine Keane and has a total prize fund valued at €5,000, generously sponsored by the businesses and publicans of Listowel town.
Ladies Day is organised once again by Eilish Stack and the event will be mc’ed by fashionista, blogger and TraleeToday.ie columnist Orlagh Winters and large crowds are expected to attend.
Judging will commence on course at 1.00pm, and the judges will walk the course and select 10 finalists. The winners will be announced in the parade ring after the 5th race.
Eilish Stack, Organiser of Ladies Day at the Listowel June Meeting, commented; “We are delighted to welcome Lorraine Keane as our judge this year and it further establishes Listowel as one of the premier ladies days of the Summer Season. The event continues to grow in both attendances and prestige, thanks to the on-going support of the businesses and publicans in Listowel and the Listowel Race Company. This year, as well as prizes for the Best Dressed lady, there is also a prize for ‘Classy Lady’ and ‘Best Accessories. All of the 7 runners up will also receive goodie bags – so it is definitely worth dressing to impress.”

Admission is €15 each day / OAP / Students: €7 and children under 12 have free admission to the race course, when accompanied by an adult. Pre-booking Group discounts also available. The June Meeting is the first of two race meetings at the scenic Listowel Race Course, with the second 7 day meeting on from Sunday 11th to Saturday 17th of September 2016.
