A FASHION event in the Fels Point Hotel last month raised over €10,000 for charity and the cheque was presented last Friday night.
The ‘Dress Haven’ fundraiser, the brainchild of Mary Brick, was in aid of the Recovery Haven and hundreds showed up to lend their support to the cause (click here for previous story and photos).
Mary was delighted with the turnout and with the total of €10,300 raised which she presented to the Recovery Haven at their Killerisk centre.
It was also an occasion for the Collins family (below) to present a cheque for €4,175, the proceeds of a number of charity events they organised.
