Michael Fassbender, performing in ‘Steve Jobs’
KILLARNEY native Michael Fassbender has received a best actor Golden Globe nomination for his performance in ‘Steve Jobs.
This is the Fossa man’s, third Golden Globe nomination having previously been up for best actor in Shame (2011) and best supporting actor for Prometheus (2012)
Three more Irish are up for an award. They are actresses Saoirse Ronan for her portrayal in ‘Brooklyn’ and Caitriona Balfe for her role in TV drama ‘Outlander’.
Writer Emma Donoghue was also nominated for the screenplay of Canadian-Irish drama-thriller ‘ROOM’.
The 73rd Golden Globes ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.
