U13 Boys: Well done to our u13 boys who defeated Ardfert by 1-13 to 2-7 last Saturday night. U13 fixtures for the coming week are as follows: our A team will play John Mitchels next Sunday and our B team will play Milltown/Castlemaine next Thursday.

U15A Boys: Our u15A team travelled back to Killorglin last Wednesday to play Laune Rangers in Round 3 of the Div 1 Central Region. It was always going to be a tough game against what we expected to be very strong opposition.

The first half was a real battle and though the halftime score was 0-8 to 0-2 it didn’t represent the game. Our lads had loads of possession, but unforced errors led to turnovers where to their credit Laune Rangers were very economical.

The second half was more of the same except we were much more clever on the ball and worked some very good scores. We defended very well also and actually came out on top in the second half. However, Laune Rangers finished out worthy winners in the end on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-7. Thanks to them for a great sporting game and to the referee also.

U15B Boys: Our u15B team played Kerins O Rahillys/St. Pat’s last Thursday evening in Strand Road in the Central Region. The game began quite even for the first 10 minutes with both sides taking some great scores.

Our lads played some lovely football but the opposition were just physically too strong and this proved the difference on the night. Halftime score was 1-09 to 0-4.That said our lads came out strong in the second half initially and struck the first two blows making it 1-09 to 0-6. However KOR/St.Pats came back strong and dominated for long periods.

Again we had moments of great football and showed our character of never giving up and netted twice in the second half. Final score was KOR/St. Pat’s 4-17 to Na Gaeil 2-07. Thanks for a great game and thanks to the referee also.
