U5 Boys & Girls: New members are always welcome. Contact Denis on 087-2808719.

U7 Boys & Girls: Our u7s have been on the road too this past week. Last Thursday they travelled to Connolly Park to play Austin Stacks and yesterday they played St. Pats in Blennerville.

U11 Boys: Two brilliant displays of football last Thursday evening from the under 11s as they took on Dingle in Killeen. Thanks to Dingle for travelling in and for two great games. Then yesterday our 2 teams were in action again when they welcomed Milltown/Castlemaine to Killeen.

U15A Boys: Our U15A’s played John Mitchels in the Division 1 Central Region last Wednesday evening in Killeen. It was a fantastic game of honest football with both teams showing their class all over the field.

Scores were well earned and Mitchels led the way going into a 2 point lead but our lads responded with a point of their own. The game was swings and roundabouts for a lot of the first half and really a penalty for Mitchels was the big difference between the sides at halftime with the away team leading 1-07 to 0-05.

The second half was every bit as intense and more, with both defences out on their feet keeping attack after attack at bay. Our boys had some great plays over the course of the game resulting in some fine scores.

As the old saying goes, goals win matches, and this was probably keeping Mitchels out of reach on the night. We came up short on the scoreboard, losing 2-15 to 0-13 but the lads battled all the way to the final whistle and were unlucky to have not got a few more scores.

Congratulations to both teams for providing a great display of football and thanks to referee Gary Kissane for a great game also. We look forward to hosting Ballymac next Wednesday evening in Killeen. Our U15B team had no game this week.

We train as normal next Monday. Also from all the U15 group we wish our own Jack and Diarmuid and all the rest of the Kerry team and management the very best of luck in the All-Ireland final next Sunday.

U17 Boys: Our lads took part in a 10-a-side club competition in Currans last Thursday night and they ran out winners after victories over Ballymac and St. Pats/Kerins O’Rahillys. Well done lads.
