Review of our senior mens 2023 season: At the start of the 2023 season the main aims of our senior team would have been to maintain our Credit Union Division 2 status as well as retaining our senior club status. It was a great achievement by our lads to finish the County League in 4th place considering the competitiveness of the division and how depleted our squad was for the whole campaign.

Next up in August was the Senior Club Championship where we were no match for Spa but only lost narrowly to both Kenmare and Templenoe. That left us facing Kerins O’Rahillys in a club relegation game in late October which we won after extra time in an epic encounter. We registered wins over St. Brendans and Dr. Crokes in the Senior County Championship in September before losing to Dingle in Round 3.

Unfortunately Mid Kerry proved too strong for us in the quarter-final but overall our team & management can be very proud of how the year went. Hopefully 2024 will see the return of a number of players who suffered injuries during this season.
